Re: Check this out...Aesthetix

0

A friend called me to tell me, there is a discussion here in the forum and he found my name.
Probably I can give some useful info about the Aesthetix Callisto.

I bought from Ralph a MP1 with all options but it had a channel problem.
Ralph was very helpful, took it back and tried to find the problem. but I think, it was something, which was very rare at that time and I used a 235V unit. Anyway I couldn't use it.
Ralph took it back and gave me a full refund for all my costs.
I was - and still am - very impressed from him.
I wanted the MP1, because I use M-60II, and I think, these are the best tube amps I ever listened to.
Then I bought a Callisto.
Good as this unit is, it does not work well with the M-60. There is a impedance problem, and it is based in the Callisto Design.
The M-60 sounds slow without any life when connected to it.

Now I have a situation I never wanted to have, I have two excellent systems, but not the right tube preamp for the M-60.

I can't afford to buy a MP-1 again and still hold the Aesthetix.
Both is too expensive.

Anyway, I am still impressed from Ralph and I am very sorry that our business didn't give the result we wished. And when he says, the problem is gone now, believe him.
A full Atma-Sphere system will give you deep satisfaction, with no doubt.
I love to listen to my M-60, but it has a Transistor preamp at the beginning.

But after all the time, I would try it again.
I still would buy a MP1 for the Atma-Sphere amps.

Ralph is premium.
From his brain and his customer service.
