Paul---thanx for the update--do you know anything about the non-graphite plate version except that they draw less filament current and is the tone of the 6336 different from the 6AS7. I might be able to buy some of the non-graphite plate versions and I don't want to do it if they have some major draw back. Also, what causes so many arch-overs on infant tubes ???
