Alan---I too am a big tuner fan--I listen to FM 4 or 5 hours every night.
There are not alot of really good tuners being made today most of the good analog tuners were made many years ago--my reccomendation is to pick up a Mcintosh MR78 or a Accuphase T101 or any of the 4 gang tuning capacitor Jap tuners--the MR78 is a super tuner and sounds great and is very sensitive---there's one on Ebay right now for $999.00--
