David,
I did try the Zero’s a couple of weeks ago. Unfortunately they do not alter the frequency response in the region that I am keen to resolve (100-500Hz). I also tried using them when I was experimenting with the Bi-amp option. Here the variables were extensive.I problem I have seems to be a combination of effects that give a lower midrange suck-out. I am sure that my room is responsible for 50% of it. I am still communicating with Roger West and from what his last email is saying it appears that improvements can be made with regard to circuitry relating to the base transformer. I hope to have a reply from him in a couple of days. If I can achieve a slight bump in the crossover region when measured close to the speaker then it should be pretty flat at my listening position.
I will return to the Zero’s when I resolved this frequency response issue and I will certainly post any results that I get that are conclusive.
