Hello!I'm hoping someone may be able to help! I have been a happy M60 user for the 2 years or so since I built the kit. One day I'll get around to some of the great mods referenced here! Where do we sign up for the 35 hour days?
I am about to use the m60's to drive a system from about 100hz and up. Although the drivers are listed as 'full range' I can see they won't really want to see the lower freq. They are 2" bandors in a curved baffle line array of 24 per side. The bottom end for now is coming from a TAD 1601C per side.
I like a clean signal path so I'm trying to avoid using an op-amp based electronic crossover at least on the highpass. Tube crossover might be cool to play with later but no time for a project like that for now! Option's I see are:
1- A cap before the amp to create a highpass
2- An internal mod to create a highpass
3- A cap before speakers to create the highpass (least prefered as it would be >100uf -- hard to find a decent cap I'd think?).
Any suggestions would be great!
Many Thanks!
John Chapman
