You hit the nail on the head. Bruce's products are a great bargain. They aren't the ultimate pieces in the world but they are damn fine sounding for the money.I'm not the one to argue which company produces the better sounding amp. I've not heard the Atmosphere amps so that puts me completely out of the discussion in regards to sound quality. The Atmosphere amps always get good press and great word of mouth. There aren't many companies that can do that as consistantly as Atmosphere and that really says a great deal about their products.
Atmosphere builds point to point masterpieces for a fairly select group of audiophiles who have made their way to otl's after years of using other equipment. Transcendent seems to be leaning towards the kit market providing very high bang for the buck equipment. Both companies have the reputation of producing killer gear for the money.
I just hope there enough life left in two channel audio that the cool little companies like Atmosphere, Transcendent, etc. can make a profit and stick around.
