Thanks, Paul, for your schematic of the all-tube SLCF. I assume the tube you designed for is the 6SN7/12SN7/12SX7/VT231. As you know, my problem is that I have no room on my chassis' to build the SLCF with such a physically large tube. I was thinking of using nuvistors or subminiature triodes. The candidates tend to have about 2X higher mu than does a 6SN7 and different Rp's too. I would continue to use the 6SN7 as the actual driver with the "tiny tubes" used as CCS and CVS. How would this alter your choice of resistor values?
