(I don't own an M60, so I never am certain about the numbering of the tubes in the input circuit.) I gather that V4 is the cathode-follower, because I was aware that in the last few years the recommended plate resistor was reduced from 20K to 3K, but what's all this about using a plate choke? Sounds interesting; what value inductor is recommended? I've been using an "extra" choke to isolate the cathode resistor of the CF from the other elements of the circuit that draw on the B- supply.
