It is interesting that you mentioned the need for "real" speakers to go with our "real" amplifiers. Now that M-60 kits are gone, I think what us DIY OTLers need is a speaker KIT that is friendly to both the M-60 and Stereo-30 amps:- 16 ohms
- higher than average efficiency (92dB)
- woffer designed to be critically damped with OTL connected
-extended frequency range
- super transparent tweeter.
- etcI was a speaker builder for 20 years before I got into the OTL zone. These will be voiced out with our amps, so they will sing with OTLs. I can use the characteristics of the OTLs in the speakers favor.
