What I did, while waiting for the MP3 cash fund to build, is I tried out someone else's Wright Sound #WLA12A preamp and it sounded so good I ordered one for myself. Although the MP3 fund suffered, the cost is under $800 and it really opened up the sound of my M60's. Definitely seems to be a good match (in my opinion). I found the Wright Sound people a bit uncommunicative, but no problem with the transaction and the preamp is a quality unit (build & sound) for the price.
