Prior to taking the MP3 plunge, I used an Audible Illusions modulus 3, single ended with my S30 with excellent results. Both the mod3 and mod3a are almost always availible used on the Audiogon web site. The mod3 should go for $650-900 and the moda $1400-1800. A new Mod3A goes for $2500. However that being said, the MP3 was a huge improvement over the AI to a degree that kind of shocked me, especially if your using the phono. IMHO, if your committed to the M60, wait until you can get an MP3 new or used before upgrading. There's usually a used MP3 that comes up on this web site every few months in the $2500 range.
