Thank you having more confidence in me than I probably deserve. I've been asked by several ASOG members if I'd consider writing a companion 6SN7 article. So far, I've done my very best to avoid such a 6SN7 article. It seems every time I start expressing my 6SN7 opinions and observations, I get myself in more trouble than it's worth. It seems like everybody's got a very passionate opinion about our beloved 6SN7s. All I have is a lot of measurements and some listening time with our amp's driver circuits, the MP-1 and MP-3. I mentioned the gospel of VTV a bit ago. That is an example that is best left behind us. Typically, if it ain't on the VTV list, it's no good, or if it's not scarce and expensive, it's no good. Please email me directly and I'll do my best to help you and not offend you too much in the process.
