Mark, these tubes certainly demand that everything in the chain is up to form. I don't have a problem with dynamics. Don't know if it was that the 12SX7s needed more breakin time or if it was some adjustments I made to my vinyl deck or a combo of both. I'd still be interested in know about this capacitor thing I heard about.
