I live in the Houston area as well. The amps do warm my listening room a couple of degrees, but it's not too bad. I've had a couple of other tube amps, including some of the big 300W VTL's and it's not any worse than them. Believe me, the sound will make you forget about the heat issue. They sound great - besides, we need more Atma-Sphere amps in Houston!Best Regards,
