I bought the Tigerwood Jube clones from the Toronto guy who bought my Walnut Khorns in 2007, then my mono LaScala in the middle. With F-20 horn subwoofers he has refinished Peavey FH-1's now.
He built the pretty Jubes, along with the 402's and Klipsch original K-31 drivers, and a Faital Pro I still have. He spend more on the veneer than the Baltic Birch. They were gorgeous and sounded great.
Had them for a year than sold them to another Toronto guy. Then I put my SH-50's back in and built a full Dolby HT around them. since they were a much better speaker, especially for their size.
I helped a Pro Klipsch Dealer in North Carolina built some modified Jubilee Clones a little taller to make room for a 12" passive that did not work at all 'cause the air chamber is just too small for that. The new Roy Delgado Jubilee uses more like 8-10 cubic feet and a 20 db boos at 22 Hz. to make the new Jube reach down low. I've never seen a pair in a corner.
Yes I know it's a 4 foot horn and is only an 8 foot horn in a corner, just like the Khorn, except much better. Even PWK thought so, and he wanted it to be the new Flagship, which it now is.
I will be using mine only down to 40 Hz in corners, with a 22 1/2 foot Super Tapped Horn from 14-40 Hz. in the basement room. That should shake up the cinder block walls a bit.
