Hello Fellow Inmates,
I am the character who came up with the Voice of Lancelot design.
I have been an AA member since about 2000, but have not posted in the past 10 or so years - busy with work and life, and then issues with eyesight that prevent reading and typing like a feral gopher.
Hence, I made a YT channel to share my adventures. I am not an infallible guru nor an expert nor an audio professional, just a music lover who happened to learn from people who really darn well know their trade.
I do not want to hijack the thread (even though it's about me), just FYI I made a video trying to address concerns - it will come out in a few hours after I post this message.
On a closing note, I love traditional Altec speakers, they are absolutely wonderful. However, that does not mean that we MUST shut down our brains and creative ideas and act as if all that can be tried has already been tried, and only take 100 times tested textbook lore and data and already existing cabinet ideas as the only reality.
