Hollowboy,
yes,the glass is bare. Imagine a big room of dimensions 16 long x 5.5 deep x 4 m high. One long side (16 long x 4m high) is bare glass. The other parallel long side (16 long x 4m high) is completely open, i.e. no wall at all. The two short sides, floor and ceiling are brick and very reflective. It is a large terrace facing a nice garden.
The speakers are intended for one half of the terrace, that is 8 long x 5.5 deep x 4 m high. This one half of the space is not separated in any way from the rest from the other half.
On the one half of the terrace where the speakers should be placed there are two large sofas and the system is intended for groups of people of about 5-10 persons. There should be good coverage in the whole half where people sit.
The mid-high speakers should be mounted/hanged from the ceiling. So the question is 1) how many speakers should be used, 2) how should they be positioned, 3) what is the highest xo freq. at which the mid-high speakers should be crossed over to the subs, and finally 4) how many subs should be used.
The needed SPL is not very high, but high enough to throw a party every now and then.
