The 802 & 902 drivers are completely different from those used in A5s. The standard A7 uses an 800Hz x-over I believe. An A5 has a 500Hz x-over, so the Hiraga is completely wrong for an A7 already. But there's more...The Hiraga crossover also has some notch filters on the high pass section to smooth response of the 288 driver/ multicell horn configuration.
If you really want to try the Hiragas, you'll need to spring for 288 drivers and 03 or 05 series multicell horns.
Really, go over to the Great Plains site and the Unofficial Altec Forum. Those groups really know their vintage Altec and would likely have some good ideas.
