I myself fall into Baby Boomer category. When I go to a retail store that sells vinyl, notably Amoeba, but also others, the crowd is young and they are buying the LPs. Amoeba has lines to check out. I guess I should only say that the niche appeal is broad. I will tell you for sure that most people I know, of all ages, think buying vinyl LPs is exceedingly eccentric. It is long past time for me to upgrade my turntabe, and I have somewhere around 4000 LPs. What stops me so far is the rather sad fact that I only use my current turntable once or twice a month.
