I have the older but similar SRS-2050II system with the SR-202 earspeakers. I also have the little SR-003MKII which can use the same energizer unit.

I got the larger system first and some years later acquired the SR-003MKII for use away from home as it packs into a suitcase much easier. The SR-003MKII is sufficiently good that if I had to do it all over again I would have just got the SRS-005 system, I would say it is 90% as good as with the SR-202's.

When you first listen with your SR-207's the first impression you will have is "where's the bass?". But if you listen, the bass is actually still there and goes very low. Sounds strange I know, but you will see what I mean when you listen to them. They have an effortless quality, where the music is just floating in space and of course distortion is very, very low. It's such a beautiful sound with a good recording.
