Ummmmmm, they do cost $1300. So saying they sounded like a $1500 pair isn't saying much...imo
Put into perspective its like saying my $2.00 burger tasted like a $2.50 burger.
Pretty much the same...
But I do understand about the break in time, usually very high quality products do require substantial break in....200 hrs is about normal.
