I had a pair of closed back AT phones for a couple years (not the model you mentioned). Then I bought a pair of SR-60 Grados for $40 less. The difference was so startling, the ATs went into permanent retirement the same day. Just saying, you might want to do the same comparison, just to check it out. :)
