Try Sennheiser Momentum in-ear. Very good and certainly a step up from your Beats.

Around $70 new at street price in the USA so should fall well within your budget used.

Note that there are two versions, one with a control for i-phone and one for Android so you will need to find out which type of device the used one is for. If I remember the Android version has a "G" suffix to the model name.
