Have the Senn Momentum, original over ear version. Like it very much, great sound for a reasonably priced headphone (got it on closeout for $150). Very light and compact for an over ear. Haven't heard the Mo2. Ear cups are smallish, but think this got fixed with the 2. Listen to the Mo's daily at my desk with a Chord Mojo or AQ Dragonfly, easy to drive. Isolation is ok, but the thin plastic cups can only do so much.
Also have a pair of Senn Amperior's, an HD25 with aluminum cups. This is an on ear, but isolates very well, and sounds terrific. You might find a pair on closeout somewhere, and if so, I'd go for it. Have Beyer 1350's as well, and while nice, may be too 'clinical' for some tastes. I find them extremely accurate, but enjoy the Senn's for the extra 'warmth' and bass they provide. For portability, the on ears will be much easier to live with than the over ears IMHO. The Beyers win the portability battle hands down, fold flat, light but very well made, nice flat case. First rate stuff. Downside is cord is not detachable.
My latest HP purchase: Focal Elears. Replaced HE560s.
