How about if any switching (volume/program etc.) was done from a small wireless remote? I realize people don't want to have to use one but it is needed.

Multiple programs on a HA are good in that they optimize the performance for the environment. A program for music needs little compression and does not need the noise cancelling mics to be on for hearing conversation better in a noisy room.

I like the Siemans aids. I think they are about $6K here in the US with the remote. They list for higher but can be had for that.
