I had read that both the Fournier and the Audio Technicas need time to break in, so I hooked them up, checked that they worked and then let them run for 24 hours. Today I gave them a listen ...and man do they sound great.
So, this is why folks get so stoked about headphones !
Such incredible detail. Attack is amazing and decay is so distinct.
The phones are really comfortable ...but kinda' ugly.
I am really looking forward to logging a lot of hours with this set up. Thanks to those who suggested it. By the way, total cost with shipping for the amp and phones was just $275.
I couldn't resist putting those little stick-on cones on the HTA-1.
