Hi Teresa,I've got the Clapton but I'll add the others onto my 'wants' list.
As far as explanations go I'm certainly no expert, just being doing some digging as I like to try and understand; so please dive in if you know better!
I was having a running debate with a chap on the Naim site:

which made me do some digging.
I think there is a lot of snake oil about Hi-Res; formats that are capable of high capture & output rates, but that are outputting low rates.
When people do it properly, such as AIX appear to be, it is good to support them ....IF the music is good.
I'll also get an AIX DVDA & have a listen.
