Hi Fellow inmates,Got a brand new Pioneer DV-563A today from Best Buy. They had a special for a free DVD-A or SACD with the purchase of the player. I chose "Gaucho". Now I find reading this forum that there are firmware compatibility problems with the Pioneer and this disc. What an unfortunate coincidence!
What should I do? My unit was made in December 2003. I am not sure about opening the Gaucho disc. I much rather wait, exchange it for another or perhaps wait until a firmware upgrade is available. Any news from Pioneer? Of course I can also wait until new fresh units arrive at Best Buy and exchange it.
