Schiit Freya Review?

Hi,
I love the Schiit company.Made in America and trying to make affordable stuff. The book on the start of the company is great.
In the October Absolute Sound Drew Kalibach reviews the Freya and Bifrost 2.In his concluding sentence he highly recommends a truly outstanding DAC and a real no joke tube preamp, the Freya.But.....
Earlier in the review he says the Freya runs incredibly hot and smells like melting rubber and hot steel. He couldn't leave his hand on the chassis too long and the tubes put out enough heat to cook a chihuahua and made sure his toddler didn't lick it after being on for a few hours. Not the best selling point but more useful than specs for at least the safety issue.
I didn't see a letter of explanation by Schiit, maybe next issue? Otherwise, who in the world would want to purchase the Freya after reading that?
Hats off to Drew Kalibach for his honesty.I just don't know why he didn't mention this important issue in his conclusion...Mark K.
