RE: ATC's SCM40 3-way tower gets a great review (NOT by me)

I just heard SCM40 with friends, a lovely speaker. But I lived with a set of active SCM40s some years ago and there's no way to match them with other amps and passive SCM40s for the same money. Active speakers have a huge starting advantage and it takes a hell of an amp to overcome not having to drive the load of a passive cross over.
