My speakers are backloaded horns with Fostex drivers, not ANs, and I've wondered about potential benefits of the reflectors as well. I'm lurking here on the AN site to find comments on the AN amp kits and this post caught my eye.

But regarding the application of the reflector only in folded horn designs, the Fostex site shows them inside standard box cabinets. Scroll to bottom of link for picture and description.
