help with installing Audio Note tonearm wire

Hello I got some A/N silver Litz tonearm wire in the mail a few days ago and this stuff is so tiny it does not even compare to 30 AWG wirewrap wire. I could use some advise for prepping and soldering it. It is supposed to be 3 strand Litz, so my first question is if the insulation is Kapton? If so then it is difficult to melt it off of the wire, and the wire is so tiny it may be necessary to carefully use a scalpel blade backward to try to strip it off. Anyone with experience please write. I have hopes this will make a big difference in my arm. I have been very happy with using A/N IC cables. It will be placed in an SME IV and I have no info on performing the operation so anyone having done an upgrade to a IV or 309 or V please help too.
