I have not read all your responses so I aploogize if this has been mentioned. The .5A fuse seems a bit low for the M2 power supply. I would go with a 1A slo blow fuse and see what happens.

I have built probably 12 AN Kit products plus the 4 pieces I have in my showroom and all use 1A slow blow.
