I put a pair on my amps back in June. I was told to run them for a couple of hundred hours at high listening levels to get as much current through them as possible. At first I experienced what you did. My amp puts out 8 watts so I picked up a couple of 20 watt 8 ohm resistors at Radio Shack, removed the speaker wire from the speaker, and attached the resistors to the speaker wire. Turned up the volume and let the system run 24/7 with the Isotek burn in disk. After about 10 days the speaker wire went back on the speakers and YES a BIG improvement across the board. Bass control was better, highs were sweeter, mids were more natural. Your in for a treat!!
