Thank you for your response. I just assumed the Az and ax series were similiar based on looks alone, but thanks for clearing that up for me.

My system is in a 10x10 bedroom so I dont think the size of the An-k would be a factor since Audio Notes put out good bass for their size anyways.

I guess what im looking for is something really similiar to the Ax-Two, except a tad less forwardness in the upper mids and warmer, more full bodied bass. Someone was posted that the An-k is a good rock speaker and this caught my eye since I listen to a lot of rock/90's alternative music.
