If you use film cap in the voltage rail (am assuming, as you wrote "lytic position") you'd probably get huge improvement. First, look for film caps in the 1uF/600v value. Measure the size ... and check how you can fit maybe 200 pieces of those underneath the amp (or even anywhere nearby. Hehehe) Cheap tweak : just parallel a small value cap, maybe a polypropelene, to the capacitors in the B+ rail. The better to filter out high freq noise
