I would guess it should be a fairly simple mod to try out the 2A3 in an existing 300B Kit1 without going to the expense of a seperate amp ? Has anyone done this ? What are the mods ? I'd quite like to try this out myself for fun and interest. I'm using Lowther DX3s which I believe are "rated" 103db, though I'd be surprised if they deliver that.
