I am just completing the build of a DAC 2.1 signature and it rocks! This thing is incredibly transparent, fast and musical. Once it settles in, I'll look forward to reading about tweaks on this forum.

Preamps: My system seems to need something extra in the bass (Sonus Faber Guarneris with Berning OTL amp). Mostly on agon, I've read that these two preamps have great bottom end: First Sound 4.0 and the CAT Ultimate 2. Has anybody compared these to the Audio Note preamps? Your comparison would be very helpful to me. Thanks, Jeff
