Excellent tweak for DAC kits

A while ago I bought some Cree Silicon Carbide "Schottky" diodes from Parts Connexion (the 1A 600V version) that sell for $1.25 each. I finally got around to replacing the standard Schottky diodes on the digital side of the DAC 1.1 power supply last weekend(the PS is also used in the DAC 2.1 for the digital board) and was floored by the results! Greater detail, wider soundstage, more musical. Just a fantastic upgrade, and worth many times it's $5 cost!
