Hello TomThanks for the post so quick. I muddled through last night. Main problems were the audio board was part completed on arrival so I had a lot of spare resistors left. And the board is different between rev C and B. Also i had to add a resistor marked in the manual as metal grazed marked on body rated, but the ones supplied were colour banded. I found the correct one. Then I noticed on hooking up the power pcb connections, a wire jumber was accross L- OUT and BLK, thus bypassing the on/off switch. I removed it!
No instruction to wire the RCA on the Digital PCB either, so followed pictures on the website.
It sounds good, but needs obviously a lot of run-in. The bass is restricted, and everything sounds slightly sucked in. I got the black gates and copper caps so run-in will be a week I reckon. I will let you know how it goes Tom.
My view - great way to build good hi-fi at low cost. Loved making it, despite the glitches.
Thanks again.
