I'll take a good amount of clean Class AB power over not quite sufficient Class A power any day. I'm not sure if that was a limiting factor with the INT-25 in your case but if the Luxman sounds better to you then that's what counts.

You'll have to let us know how you like the Luxman after you've had it for a while.

I'm especially curious about the Luxman phono compared to your EAR 834p. I had the EAR 834p and enjoyed its rich lush sound. It was very intoxicating but I sold mine and went for a more neutral sounding phono preamp.
