Regarding DC offset, the Nilai modules have a trimpot labelled "DM" which is used to null out any DC offset. Mine came from the factory with about 7 mV DC (within spec), but I was able to adjust them to 0.00 mV. It drifts around a little but I doubt if mine will get back to 7 mV, which is still pretty low.
If your preamp has any significant DC offset, the Nilai module will multiply that by the amp gain so your speakers see preamp DC times amp gain. My preamp (Schiit Kara) had 9 mV DC on one channel but I was able to reduce the Nilai amp gain to 3.9 (from 12.3) and boost the preamp gain to 4X (with no increase in DC offset), so I now get about 25 mV at the speaker terminal on the worst channel.
