I agree with Mikey

the size & quality of the caps i.e. where they were made etc. is most important so they last a good while. Increasing the capacitance too much might also put too much strain on the PS diodes at startup.

I've seen many people replace PS caps and declare a complete makeover to the amp with the new caps. Don't forget to buy reputable ones and a good break-in time to evaluate them. I'm also not familiar with who makes caps today in the size you need that are as dependable and well made as the older U.S. Sprague's.
