I recently purchased an Ayre VX-5 amp and am really impressed, and enjoying it immensely. In fact I find it a bit mesmerizing and a real improvement for solid state amplification. I am curious what the "Diamond output stage" is. I don't see anything about it on the Ayre site. Charles, care to comment?
I have no connection with Ayre, just a tube guy who finally found a ss amp I really like!
