I am driving my Sophia 2 with Accuphase C2400 and A-60. They compliment each other quite wonderfully IMO. The E-550 may be less powerful, but voicing should be similar. BTW, my A-60 usually reads within 5 watts during listening in my room. The highest reading I've seen is about 30. It sounds more than powerful enough in my room.
