If your still looking to change amp, take a look at Odyssey amps. Im powering 1.7i s with an Odyssey Kismet. Its 2 x 160 wpc into 8 ohm. Of course higher into 4 ohm.Its high current which is what Maggies crave.
Klaus is owner /designer/ manufacturer so his heart goes into his work.
