RE: Quad 405/606/909 vs Arcam Alpha series vs NAD vs other for Quad ESL 57

I own Picquet refurbed 57's.

I've tried a lot of amps on these speakers.

The Croft series 7 power amp is an excellent match. Croft uses 57's in his system.

I've also tried the Peachtree 220, currently being blown out at $699. It's a class d amp, very stable into Quads and sounds great on them.
