I use two full sets of Kimber 8TC.
An old set i had before, is blue and black wire used for the low,
And a new set of gold/ white I use for the high.
I moved the crossover from on the speakers (I have the vertical box mounting on 2010 made speakers)
And from the amp to the box i use some silver plated 12 gauge wire. I also removed some of the connectors in the boxes, and the wire from amp runs through box to ouput connectors.
So the tweak removes one 'extra' set of Magnepan connectors on the negative line and the internal wire, for each leg of the crossover.
(the wire from the amp is quad twist, so each dedicated ground wire goes through the box to the ground out pin of the crossover, one to high, one to low.
