I'm with Josh on this. You can always get a pair of 3ohm ribbons to replace the 2ohm (IIIa/T-IVa) ribbons which you currently have ... and these will give you the same highs (as the 20.1). And you get lower bass from the larger area of the T-IVa bass panels.Also, the T-IVa has one significant advantage over the 20.1 ... the mid panel & ribbon cage are on a separate frame to the bass panels (whereas the 20.1, like all other models, has all the drivers in the one frame).
With the T-IVa, therefore, frame vibrations produced by the bass panels do not "infect" the mids panel - and, more importantly, the ribbon cage.
