To end, this was the best investment I have made in a long time, if you can install the boards yourself the cost is $400.00
You can see in the pic of the 63s interface an bias setup i have posted here the EHT 5-25kv..that this bias is just a bias...is the 63s ESL panel setup diff than others yes...the bias is the same just higher Quad 63 25kv... Acoustat 5-6kV...SoundLab..7-8Kv...
All my point is that All ESL need Better bias setups to give better sound like your saying...
The clamp setup Quad uses to stop arcing...by the way most pull out to get the best sound....So some say...I cant say.... is on the Input of the driver tranfourmer has nothing to do with the bias...AS far as i can see....
This is where it all go off the reals... when people think.. as great a ESL as Quad made...it not setup any diff Bias wise than other ESL ....an bias has every thing to do with the sound from what i have found... An from what you said in this post... i think?
If the bias is off..no matter what input tranfourmer or panel layout...sound goes south...goodluck
